2022 Kia Seltos carefully modified to a premium version
Kia recently launched the 2022 version of the Seltos SUV in the market. The SUV was launched with some cosmetic changes and feature updates. Kia is also offering the SUV in two new colors – Sparkling Silver and Imperial Blue. The SUVs have already arrived at dealerships and the delivery of these has also started. In the past, we have seen seltos modification videos. Here we have one of those videos where an all new 2022 Kia Seltos base HTE variant in the Sparkling Silver shade has been completely modified into a GT Line version. What are all the changes? Let’s watch the video to find out.
The video was uploaded by VIG AUTO ACCESSORIES on their YouTube channel. In this video, vlogger shows all the changes made to the base Seltos variant to convert it to a premium variant. Most of the parts replaced in this Seltos are actually Kia genuine parts. Starting from the front, the original grille of the HTE variant has been replaced with the GT Line grille and it comes with all LED headlights, LED DRLs that extend to the grille, icicle shaped LED fog lights and even the bumper has been replaced to give it a GT Line look.
As for the side profile, the steel rims of the base HTE variant have been removed and replaced with two-tone 18-inch units from Seltos X Line. Just like on the front bumper, the bottom of the door of the Seltos gets a red accent. The base variant gets turn signals on the fenders. This was removed and a chrome cover was put on this place. The ORVMs in this Kia Seltos have been replaced with a higher variant unit which comes with integrated LED turn signals and power adjustments. Roof rails have been fitted and chrome lower window trim and chrome door handles are also visible. At the rear, the taillights are now LED units and the rear bumper as well as the chrome trim between the taillights have also been replaced.
The windows and windshield of this Kia Seltos receive high heat rejection transparent films. The interiors of this Seltos have also been customized. The basic interior of the base variant was customized like the GT Line variant. The door pads are covered in leather. The switches to control the ORVMs are also placed on the door panel. The car’s cloth seat covers were replaced with black leatherette upholstery with red stitching, just like the GT Line. The steering has also been wrapped in leather with red accents and there’s cruise control and buttons to control the infotainment system.
The dashboard of this Seltos is also covered in leather with red stitching. The Seltos’ company-integrated music system was replaced with an aftermarket touchscreen infotainment system. The screen also displays power to the rear parking sensors. There are ambient lights installed in the car and floor mats have also been installed. The overall fit and finish of the work done on this Seltos looks good and the car no longer looks like a base variant.
