Here is the particularity of the Bentley Bentayga S
Along with prominent sporting features, the Bentayga S has also received many other upgrades that improve its performance and driving experience.
The British luxury automaker has released the fourth generation of the Bentayga series, and the company itself is very ambitious about its performance. Bentley claims the car is meant to honor exploration enthusiasts. Its beautiful design incorporates advanced technologies, thanks to which the vehicle can outperform other SUVs in terms of performance on difficult terrain. The driving experience, versatility and comfort offered by the Bentayga S are simply unmatched and can be largely attributed to its distinctive styling and sporty performance, which gives the Bentayga S a bold and macho appeal.
What sets the Bentayga S apart from its predecessors and competitors is the new Bentley Dynamic Ride system. This is 48-volt active anti-roll technology that Bentley claims is the first of its kind in the industry. In less than 0.3 seconds, the system responds with a maximum dynamometer of 959 lb-ft of torque to counter lateral rolling forces. The automaker has standardized this system in the Bentayga S to provide ideal cabin stability and maximum maneuverability.
The dynamically improved exterior
The Bentayga S sports a much more attractive exterior compared to its previous generations, and with its improved features, the Bentley Bentayga S has a more innovative design. All exterior chrome on previous models is replaced with a black finish, duplicated on the side sills and mirrors. The LED headlights and taillights are covered in a dark tint, while a glossy black treatment is carried out on the front air dam. Huge 22-inch polished pottery wheels and model-specific badges, all loaded with black, give the car its bold look.
Up front, Bentley made the car more aggressive with its iconic double-round ‘cut crystal’ headlamps with an enlarged matrix grille. However, it does not appear to be bulging in any way thanks to the trimmed hood. The front bumper has a more chiseled profile with a black tinted air intake and side fog lights mounted on a black background. Further modifications are added in the lower body panels and a larger rear spoiler and black oval dual exhausts.
The interior fit for a sports car
The sporty look on the outside is also reflected on the inside. The interior of the vehicle is black and red, with Alcantara pigmentation widely used on the steering, seats, gear lever, roof liner and other trim. The car comes in three seating configurations – four, five and seven. Additionally, the upholstered leather seats all feature an “S” badge.
The driver information panel and the infotainment system are equipped with LCD screens. A 10.9-inch screen in the center serves as an infotainment system. The system is designed with optimal graphics, customizable configurations and several connectivity options. The infotainment has integrated Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and an improved navigation system compatible with satellite maps. In addition, the system includes digital television, online radio and live map updates. For the convenience of rear-seat passengers, a digital touchscreen remote control is provided that gives them access to the infotainment system and controls the panoramic roof and interior lighting.
The car’s infotainment unit is equipped with My Bentley Connected services and a dedicated SIM card that allows enhanced access to interior features. It also has voice recognition and traffic sign recognition technology. The My Bentley service comes with a smartphone app that allows the driver to locate, lock and unlock the car remotely.
The powerful Bentley engine
The newest addition to the Bentayga family is powered by a 4.0-liter V8, specially developed for this car, and this engine generates 550 hp and 568 lb-ft of torque. The luxury automaker claims the Bentayga S is the fastest family car in its SUV lineup. The car can sprint from 0 to 62 mph in just 4.5 seconds and has a top speed of 180 mph. Despite a powerful engine and high speed, the fuel economy of the vehicle is quite impressive. Bentley claims that the Bentayga S can travel up to 406 miles on a full tank if driven at standard speed.
An 8-speed automatic transmission controls engine power. To enhance the experience of its sporty nature, the Bentayga’s driving control system features a “Sport Drive” mode. This elevates the air suspension by 15%, along with a finely tuned ESC and steering that provide unparalleled control and balance. Vehicle power is assisted by a brake-based torque vectoring system which dramatically improves front axle response.
The Bentley Bentayga is already a well-established SUV line from the company, and the new Bentayga S will only strengthen Bentley’s position in the industry. Beyond its luxury and aristocratic vehicles, Bentley experimented with a sportier approach to this car. With all the advanced features, a powerful engine and an aggressive look, the Bentayga S is now a great enthusiast’s vehicle.
